Broadband for Vessels
The map below shows the current coverage under the Inmarsat 3 satellites. The Fleet55 voice services are available throughout the global beam footprints. Fleet55 data services are available within the dark blue spot beam areas. However, once Inmarsat's new I-4 constellation is operational (mid 2005), the extra spot beams provided by these satellites are anticipated to fill in almost all the gaps within the IOR and AOR-W regions.
