The LEOLUT is a fully automated high performance satellite earth station that processes distress signals from COSPAS-SARSAT satellites and distributes location coordinates to Mission Control Centers (MCC).

The LEOLUT 600 is built upon 20 years of LUT design and evolution and the most current technology components. It maintains satellite orbit data internally, can be configured in a dual LUT configuration and is the only LUT that can perform combined LEO/GEO processing.

The LEOLUT 600 has proven itself capable of improving the determined beacon location accuracy with GEOLUT data and of providing fast ambiguity resolution, especially in geographies where fewer satellites may be seen. EMS SATCOM LUT, MCC and RCC systems have been playing a key role in the expansion of the worldwide SAR network and are currently used by the majority of countries that participate in the COSPAS-SARSAT program.
